Job Summary
Job Title: Elementary Special Education Teacher
Pay: $45$55/hour
Schedule: Full-time school hours
Contract Position
ISO Workforce Alliance is seeking a dedicated Elementary Special Education Teacher to support a self-contained classroom in the Dorchester SC area (29477). This role is ideal for an educator experienced in supporting students with intellectual disabilities and moderate to severe needs in a structured classroom environment.
Position Overview:
Elementary self-contained classroom
Develop and implement IEPs aligned with student goals
Provide differentiated instruction and individualized support
Collaborate with related service providers paraprofessionals and families
Maintain compliance with state and district documentation requirements
Qualifications:
South Carolina Special Education Multi-Categorical certification
Experience in self-contained or mod/severe settings preferred
Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
Ability to manage caseload and maintain compliance timelines
