A vacancy has arisen for a Sergeant (People Ops People Specialist) to serve as Regional Career Management Advisor (RCMA) at RAF Marham on Full Time Reserve Service (Home Commitment) Terms and Conditions of Service (TCoS) with an initial proposed start date of 07 September 2026 (or earlier/later subject to candidate status).
The post is part of an Dir People owned team of 12 personnel who operate on a regional basis to complement Career Management. The successful candidate will form part of 4 strong sub-team (Region 3) covering the eastern/central counties of the UK. The RCMA Network primarily provides post promotion board support to all enlisted aviators and on request through the SCIO App will analyse their latest 3 SJARs to identify strengths areas improvement and provide professional advice on how to enhance their promotion profile for future promotion boards. All advice will be recorded on SCIO and uploaded to the individuals SCIO Dossier for the Career Manager to consult when making future career decisions.
The new post holder will be required to undertake the online DLE Appraisals training the Career Management Induction Module (CMIM) and observe a Promotion board at HQ Air before a comprehensive on-the-job training process can commence. All RCMA personnel are in receipt of an MOD laptop and remote working including from home is available.
