A Day in the Life

Wir bieten Ihnen eine spannende Remote Sales Position im hybriden Arbeitsmodell (Homeoffice und/oder Medtronic Office Meerbusch) in der Sie aktiv zum Ausbau unseres Portfolios im Bereich Endoscopy beitragen. Es erwartet Sie eine abwechslungsreiche und verantwortungsvolle Vertriebsaufgabe mit viel dieser Rolle fungieren Sie als zentrale Schnittstelle zwischen internen Abteilungen wie Marketing Customer Service und Business Relationship Management und arbeiten eng mit den Außendienstkolleg*innen zusammen. Die Kommunikation mit externen Ansprechpartnern etwa Krankenhäusern und niedergelassenen Ärzten sowie klinischen und nicht-klinischen Stakeholdern erfolgt hauptsächlich digital und remote. Aus dem Remote-Setup heraus bauen Sie langfristige vertrauensvolle Partnerschaften mit Entscheidungsträgern auf und verantworten den Auf- und Ausbau des Verkaufsumsatzes in Ihrer Region. Dabei überzeugen Sie durch analytisches Denken eine strukturierte und effiziente Arbeitsweise sowie ein hohes Maß an Eigenverantwortung. Mithilfe datengestützter Strategien und fundierter Marktanalysen entwickeln Sie erfolgreiche Vertriebsansätze und tragen maßgeblich zur Profitabilität Ihrer Region bei.

Der primäre Arbeitsort ist im Homeoffice ergänzt durch die Möglichkeit regelmäßig im Medtronic Office in Meerbusch bei Düsseldorf zu arbeiten.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Remotely sells Medtronics products and retains end-user patients within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts for pre-defined territory locations to achieve or exceed assigned sales goals.
  • Identify develop and close leads for the business and refer on internal leads when appropriate.
  • Provides input on new markets new product introductions and existing products or supplies.
  • Promotes and establishes education of the companys products and/or services.
  • Manages and responds to customer concerns and problems.
  • Arranges demonstration of products by field sales representatives.
  • Assists the field sales representatives in the planning and execution of sales activities as well as providing on-going sales support including sales calls data analysis customer opportunities and sales rep follow-up.

SALES PROFESSIONAL CAREER STREAM:Typically sales professional individual contributors with direct sales responsibilities. May direct the work of other lower level sales professionals or manage sales processes and / or accounts involving multiple team members. The majority of time is spent establishing and maintaining customer relationships developing new customer relationships implementing sales strategies and closing sales.

Understands market landscape marketing and pricing structure more influence on pricing structures.
Works with sales marketing and finance to structure complex contracts.

Innovation and Complexity:Makes adjustments or recommends enhancements in sales processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area.
Recommends changes in account tactics to achieve sales goals .
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.

Communication and Influence:May influence parties within own job function at an operational level.
Obtains or provides information requiring some explanation or interpretation .
Communicates with external customers and / or vendors involving negotiation and / or presentations in order to manage relationships and close sales.

Leadership and Talent Management:Normally receives general instructions on routine work detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
May provide guidance and assistance to entry level sales professionals and / or support employees.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 6 years experience*
OR Associates Degree AND 4 years experience*
OR Bachelors Degree AND 2 years experience*

*Relevant sales customer support or related experience in medical devices medtech healthcare or life sciences.
