Shift & Schedule: Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse Intensive Care Unit for an exciting Travel or Local job in Fort Walton Beach FL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide close monitoring and frequent assessments for high-acuity ICU patients
• Administer medications and manage complex treatment plans
• Advocate for patients and families while ensuring privacy and dignity
• Educate patients and families on care plans medications and recovery instructions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Deliver critical care in a 10-bed ICU with telemetry monitoring
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the unit
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to ICU protocols
• Respond to changes in patient condition with critical thinking

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience (ER ICU or CVICU) OR 2 years PCU/IMCU experience
• Active Florida RN license or Compact License (FL required within 60 days)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 90 days
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days
