Social Media Content Specialist (Polygon)

This is a paid freelance remote position.

Were looking for a Social Media Content Specialist to join the Polygon team. This role is ideal for someone who understands internet culture thrives in a high-volume content environment and knows how to transform editorial content into engaging social-first experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and optimize engaging content tailored for social media platforms
• Monitor and manage social channels ensuring timely and relevant posting
• Ideate and execute original entertainment content for social audiences
• Manage content uploads across platforms including Emaki and native social tools
• Adapt written editorial stories into compelling video content for social distribution
• Collaborate with the Social and editorial teams to streamline content posting and adapt quickly to news updates

Requirements

• Strong video editing skills with an eye for platform-specific trends
• 2-5 years of experience
• Solid understanding of audience data and performance analytics
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Highly creative with a strong sense of what performs on social media
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced high-output environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Comfortable using AI tools to enhance productivity and content creation
