Middle School Social Studies/ELA Teacher

Contract Type: Teacher
Location: North Canton Middle School
Full-time
Effective Dates: 2026-27 school year
Main teaching responsibilities will be to teach the Discover Classes (social studies) which are for 6th and 7th-grade students who are identified as Superior Cognitive gifted
- This person will also teach one class of 8th-grade English Language Arts
Licensure Requirement: Candidate must possess (or will possess by the start of the school year) a current Ohio Teaching license with one or more of the following certifications:
- Middle Childhood 4 - 9 Social Studies and English Language Arts
- Elementary 1 - 8
NOTE: A Gifted Intervention Specialist Endorsement is preferred but not required
