As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Full Time in Atlanta GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support staff and visitors with strong customer service and this role you will contribute to a caring culture that values teamwork reliability agility innovation and integrity while making a meaningful impact each day.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and sharing relevant details with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances exits and public areas assisting with access control visitor interactions and adherence to location rules and protocols.
• Support daily operations by reporting hazards maintenance concerns and/or policy violations and by communicating with supervisors staff and emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
