JobPurpose

TheSales Internwill provide directsupport toSales and Financeprofessionals.The position will expose the intern to avariety of assignmentsthat will assist theDrivetrain &Morse Systems(DMS)NA Sales team in managing customer accountsand coordinating with internal other BorgWarner functional groups.

Individual and team assignments and responsibilities will be assigned according to the needs of theSales organization.

KeyResponsibilities

  • Process customer contractupdatesthrough the internal contract approval process

  • CoordinateSalesactivitiesforPrototypes supporting multiple customers(Draft and Issue prototypequotesprocessprototypePOsmonitor prototypedelivery statuswithNA prototype groups)

  • Distribute periodicCommodityAdjustmentstoproduction plants for pricing updates

  • Utilizes and engages with the DMS NA SalesSharePointtofoster collaboration and actively contribute to Sales process improvements and information/user management

  • Coordinate with theGlobalMarketingResearch(GMR)departmentforindustry trend analysis

  • SupportsSales forecastand Long-RangePlan inSalesforce

  • Collaboratewithinternal and external customersoperations program management global supply chain and business development

  • Supports Lifecycle Managementprocess improvementand data management (schedules/follows up on quarterly gate review meetings adds new programs to the database as needed)

  • Business MarketingFinanceor Engineeringdegree

  • Minimum GPA:3.3

  • Mustreport onsite at least three(3)daysper weekto our Auburn Hills Campus

  • Maintain a20-to-29-hourworkweek

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizationalandcomprehensiveskills

  • Strongknowledgeand application ofMicrosoft Office(Excel Word PowerPoint)
