Shift: Rotating (8:00 AM 4:00 PM 9:00 AM 5:00 PM occasional 3:00 PM 11:00 PM)

Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Radiology Technologist for an exciting travel or local job in Falmouth MA.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and set up imaging equipment for radiographic and ultrasound examinations
• Select appropriate transducers and imaging parameters based on exam requirements
• Review patient history and clinical data to support diagnostic accuracy
• Position patients and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimal imaging views
• Explain procedures to patients addressing concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Monitor patient safety and well-being during imaging procedures
• Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper labeling and documentation
• Maintain accurate radiology records in compliance with department standards
• Assist physicians during specialized procedures including ultrasound-guided biopsies
• Coordinate workflow to ensure efficiency and timely completion of studies
• Manage supplies equipment maintenance and service requests as needed
• Adhere to infection control safety and departmental policies and procedures
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (e.g. Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology)
• Registered or registry-eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current state licensure (Massachusetts)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Additional Skills

• Knowledge of ultrasound imaging procedures preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care
