Shift & Schedule: Nights (7p7a) Rotating Weekends

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Surgery ICU (CSICU) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Tallahassee FL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide autonomous care for post-operative cardiac surgery ICU patients
• Perform complex clinical assessments and manage treatment plans
• Monitor patients requiring continuous critical care and intervention
• Advocate for patients and families ensuring privacy and dignity
• Educate patients and caregivers on recovery and medication plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiac and ICU care teams
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Support quality improvement initiatives within the unit
• Respond to critical changes in patient condition
• Deliver high-acuity cardiac intensive care nursing

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year acute care ICU or PCU experience required
• Active Florida RN license or Compact License (FL required within 60 days)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required within 30 days
• CCRN certification preferred (within 2 years)
