Purpose

This role provides design recommendations for the companys products and solutions based on the implementation of user-centric methods during the design and development process allowing optimized user experiences.

Key Missions

Gathers and evaluates user and ecosystem needs in collaboration with product managers and engineers

Conducts users interviews and tests studies and evaluates how users feel about a system or concept looking at things like ease of use perception of the value of the system or concept efficiency in performing tasks etc.

Translates user needs and business requirements into recommendations that will result into features and functionalities for a system or concept

Develops process flows wireframes and mock-ups (hardware and software) to effectively conceptualize test and communicate high-level design strategies

Identifies and troubleshoots UX problems to improve the existing system or concept

Promotes the user-centric approach and methodologies across the companys engineer teams (and beyond)
