We are hiring for our client for a Technical Assistant to join a well-established and growing food manufacturing business based in Craigavon.
This Technical Assistant role will support the Technical team in maintaining high standards of food safety quality and compliance across the site. You will play a key role in ensuring all documentation audits and quality processes are completed accurately and in line with customer and regulatory requirements.

The Role
Support the Technical team in maintaining the Food Safety & Quality Management System
Assist with internal audits and preparation for external and customer audits
Ensure all technical documentation and records are accurate and up to date
Support traceability exercises and product testing programmes
Assist in managing customer complaints and logging non-conformances
Monitor and maintain quality checks across production
Support allergen control hygiene and GMP standards across site
Work closely with production teams to ensure compliance with food safety requirements
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across quality and technical processes
The Person
Food-related qualification or relevant experience (desirable)
Experience within a food manufacturing or technical/QA environment (advantageous)
Good understanding of food safety HACCP and GMP (desirable)
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Good communication skills with the ability to work across teams
Proactive and willing to learn with a strong work ethic
Comfortable using IT systems including Microsoft Office
