Senior Customer Security Specialist

What to Expect:

In this role you will:

• Investigate and resolve a wide range of customer security-related requests with precision and professionalism
• Ensure compliance and operational excellence safeguarding trust across the network
• Drive innovation by contributing to projects that enhance our tools and workflows integrating complex processes into daily operations
• Analyze current practices of data systems and network security infrastructure/controls. Develop and implement security policies and procedures and compliance controls
• Analyze complex/sensitive security baseline non-compliance reports/cases and evaluate and recommend within defined practices and policies methods and techniques for resolution
• Ensure the monitoring of overall security systems including policies methods and procedures that safeguard the integrity of and access to enterprise systems files and data elements
• Notify management about security violations and propose solutions to possible security threats
• Investigate complex/sensitive security matters develop security risk analysis scenarios and propose response procedures
• Provide management with information to advise them of critical issues that may affect customer or corporate objectives
• May conduct work on complex projects that include writing requirements architecture design proof of concept supervision of implementation training of staff on security projects
• Identify potential areas where existing data security policies/controls and procedures require change or where new ones need to be developed including security testing and checks for appropriate cyber defense
• Take proactive steps to resolve problems before they arise
• Maintain knowledge of changing technologies and provide recommendations for adaptation of technologies or policies
• May provide coaching and guidance to more junior staff. May be consulted on people and department management issues
• Evaluate and ensure appropriateness of tools used to automate day to day control activities
• May ensure appropriate security management access and compliance control of systems and networks

We are seeking professionals with:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field: or equivalent work experience

6to 10 years of relevant work experience
