As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Artesia NM you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location where you will monitor entry points verify credentials conduct routine patrols and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors and visitors by following access control procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify identification and credentials process visitor registrations and document deliveries vehicles and/or contractor access in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents alarms and unusual activity in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate observed concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter including gates parking areas and other restricted locations as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Complete required logs reports and incident documentation and help to deter unauthorized access policy violations and/or disruptions through visible presence and consistent application of post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
