Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Nurse Manager NICU for an exciting Travel or Local job in Houston TX.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of a 30-bed Level IV NICU unit
• Support staffing scheduling and performance evaluations for 2035 FTEs
• Ensure clinical care aligns with hospital mission and NICU standards
• Lead quality improvement and performance initiatives
• Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to nursing staff
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure adherence to nursing process and evidence-based care
• Monitor and improve patient outcomes and unit performance
• Support family-centered care and Woman First philosophy
• Maintain operational efficiency across multiple shifts

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years NICU clinical experience
• Minimum 2 years leadership experience (Charge Nurse or Management)
• Recent Level III or IV NICU leadership experience (within 1 year)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Active Texas RN license or Compact License (TX required within 60 days)
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
