Job Summary
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Pay: $18$24 per hour (based on experience)
Primary Purpose
Support the school health program and provide care for students and staff under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Texas LVN License
Current CPR & AED Certification
Skills
Basic first aid knowledge
Strong organization and communication skills
Ability to maintain records and use basic computer programs
Experience
At least 1 year in a health-related position
Experience working with school-age children preferred
Responsibilities
Provide basic care following student health plans
Administer medications per district guidelines
Assist with health screenings and reports
Communicate with staff and parents as needed
Support students with medical needs
Maintain accurate and confidential health records
Follow all safety health and district policies
Additional Duties
Assist in ARD meetings when needed
Support and guide clinic aides
Follow all emergency and safety procedures
