Location:Rosemount MN
Pay:$23.10 -$26.50 per hour depending on shift
Shifts:
Weekdays: Mon. 6am to 4pm Tues. & Wed. 6am to 6pm Thurs. 6am to Noon
Weekday Nights: Mon 8pm to 6am. Tues. & Wed. 6pm to 6am Thurs. 6pm to 12am
Weekend Days: Thurs 12pm to 6pm Fri. & Sat. 6am to 6pm Sun 6am to 4pm
Weekend Nights: Thurs. night - Midnight to 6am Fri. Fri.& Sat. 6pm to 6am & Sun. 8pm to 6am

About this Opportunity:
The Quality Inspector works with the Quality and Manufacturing teams performing this role youll be a key contributor on Critical to Quality (CTQ) and Advanced Quality Inspection projects along with other initiatives that support grow and manage the Quality capabilities at the company.
What Youll Be Doing:
Act as key point of contact for QC aspects.
Determine if an order is shippable and conduct final inspection.
Identify quality issues relating to finishing manufacturing processes packaging and order fulfillment.
Collaborate to determine corrective action as necessary with department supervisor and co-workers.
Use a variety of precision measuring equipment from calipers and pin gauges and advanced inspection equipment.
Transport parts to designated areas
Perform CTQ CMM and Visual inspection as required
Document and report inspection findings and results and monitor corrective actions.
Refer to work instructions and/or pictures to clarify part-specific defects or acceptable conditions
Act as the primary contact for the escalation of issues from Inspection Teams
Audit and monitor quality requirements in accordance with the company quality assurance policies and customer specifications.
Audit and ensure continuous improvement of the inspection process.
Review new inspection requirements marked up pictures specified tolerances checking method.
Ensure that corrective action plans are adhered to and non-conforming products are managed.
Continually seek to improve work processes and individual performance.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
What makes you a great fit:
High School Diploma or equivalent degree
Able to obtain the skills to demonstrate the principles of basic measurement instruments such as scales calipers thread gauges pin gauges digital height gauge
2-3 years of prior experience in a manufacturing or similar work environment is preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Familiarity with quality systems standards such as ISO9001 AS9100 ISO/TS16949 or ISO13485
