HOWYOULLMAKEA DIFFERENCE

  • Oversees and directsa fieldsales team within theNorthAmerican( USand Canada)marketplace. Leads develops and mentors sales team.

  • Aligns regionalopportunitieswith the strategic direction of the brand and business. Develops strategies that maximize brand position and sales growth within the assigned geographic region.

  • Leadsaregionalsales teamdevelopsand executesseasonalsales goals and sales plans that drive growth.

  • Manages performance and develops talent within the sales team by setting clear goals and performance expectations tracking progress against goals ensuring feedback that reinforces individual team members developmental progress success and the pursuit of relentless improvement.

  • Collaborates with marketing and retail in-store partners to drive sell-through programs withindependent retailpartners.

  • Works directly and travels with regional sales representatives to advise on territory and account management.

  • Responsible for regional trade shows and coordinating any regional participation at regional and national events.

  • Develops andmaintainsrelationships with buying groups.

  • Acts asliaisonbetween company andfieldsales team ensuring needs are metwith regard tosales efforts and product showings.

  • Manages the forecasting of account sales representatives.

  • Works closely with an internalSORELteam of merchants customer service and planning thatis responsible forproduct planning and production sales and inventory projections SMU design operational andlogisticssupport and information to all parties to helpproperly managekey account business.

  • Understand the competition and able to communicate the issues that arise from our competitors to management/merchandising

YOU ARE

  • Familiar with standard concepts practices and procedures within the sales field

  • Strong in written and verbal communication

  • Able to handle and work with proprietaryprivateand confidential information.

  • An out of the box thinker and willing to challenge the status quo creative ideas and solutions preferred

YOUHAVE

  • Bachelors degree in business administration Marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 10years experience in sales offootwear and/or apparelindustry experience.

  • 8 years managing both individual contributors and managers.

  • Experience managing a sales team>10salesreps.

  • Thorough knowledge of marketing sales theory strategy prospecting account business planning forecasting use of sales aids and closing techniques

  • Knowledge of product lines/services and outdoor industry

  • Experience withMall Specialtystoresand inventory planning and analysis

  • Proven experience in defining retailer value add from marketsfootwearindustry producttrendsand key data

  • Experience leading business reviews and creating marketing plans

  • Advanced interpersonal skills including the ability to quickly build relationships
