Systems Engineering Project Manager

Job Summary
Leidos is currently seeking an experienced individual for a role supporting a dynamic customer acquisition program office. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical planning; system hardware software and network design; development and integration; verification and validation; and fielding. The candidate will also continuously evaluate technical alternatives including risk supportability and system-level analyses.
Duties of this position include but are not limited to:
- Provide technical advice and input to the customers Chief Engineer to help establish the strategic foundation for critical national capabilities and future initiatives
- Continually assess the customers business practices and recommend new solutions processes standards or operational plans to improve mission effectiveness
- Serve as the Chief Engineers technical lead on large complex projects
- Resolve highly complex multi-dimensional problems requiring consideration of variables that impact multiple aspects of programs or projects
- Lead development of highly innovative products and solutions through collaboration with subject matter experts
- Execute systems engineering activities including requirements analysis functional analysis timeline analysis trade studies requirements allocation interface definition technical management integration system testing and quality assurance
Requirements
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with DoD military civilian personnel and industry partners
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word PowerPoint Excel)
- Ability to anticipate and prepare responses and briefing materials for senior USG leadership on program-specific matters
Experience
- BA/BS degree with 12 years of relevant experience or MA/MS degree with 10 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Working knowledge and demonstrated experience with Special Access Programs (SAP) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) activities
Security Clearance
- Must possess a current/active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance in order to be considered
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program information

Pay Range:
Pay Range $131300.00 - $237350.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
