Our projects are typically within Sports & Entertainment Healthcare Higher-Education and large-scale commercial construction projects.

As a Safety Manager youll play a key role in planning coordinating and executing safety responsibilities. Youll work closely with project teams and receive guidance from senior safety leadership ensuring that every jobsite meets Barton Malows high standards and complies with OSHA regulations.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct daily safety inspections and audits on a project site. Corrects or abates basic hazards unsafe acts safety violations or safety issues. Effectively addresses basic project safety concerns that may develop or exist. Consult the Safety Manager or above to resolve any safety matters that are not basic or have project-only implications.
• Executes project safety plans Barton Malow safety manual policies and procedures as well as OSHA standards on a project.
• May leador facilitatesafety meetings and orientations. Participate in project leadership meetings for the presentation and dissemination of project safety matters.
• Conducts and/or reviews inspections of machines tools equipment vehicles and safety equipment. Possesses Competent Person status for such equipment to determine proper action and disposition based on inspections.
• Leads or performs incident investigations for all types of incidents and compiles documentation and summaries of such investigations

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE EDUCATION EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• 5 years of construction safety experience in a similar roles
• OSHA 510 certification preferred
• OSHA 30 certification
