Job Summary

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the stations security team including contracted guards.
  • Ensure physical security of all property and assets owned by the organization.
  • Monitor and report on physical security compliance including adherence to TAPA America guidelines.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to management.
  • Respond to and manage security incidents ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
  • Train and develop local security staff ensuring alignment with established procedures.
  • Prepare reports and analysis for customer and leadership review.
  • Oversee contracted security personnel ensuring proper reporting and performance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing security procedures and protocols for the site.
  • Collaborate with customer onsite SOC and Corporate Security to maintain compliance with global policies.
  • Work with Corporate IT & Corporate Security to ensure facility security hardware meets global standards.
  • Investigate and report all security incidents at the location.
  • Communicate with law enforcement on security matters as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical requirements

  • Talking hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment.
  • Vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Extended sitting or standing and use of standard office equipment may be required.

  • Knowledgeable of warehouse operations and freight/logistics optimization.
  • Excellent planning time management collaboration decision making organization and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and document processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment collaborate with internal and external resources respond to questions from senior management and manage through conflict with a positive flexible attitude and professionalism.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office especially Excel.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years related experience.
  • Minimum 1 year industry experience preferred.

Certifications and Licenses

  • Professional certification may be required in some areas.
