The following contract position may be available for the 26-27 school year
Elementary Music Teacher
Radnor Elementary School
Qualifications:
PA Certificate Music K-12
Develop lead and sustain a successful elementary music program
Provide dynamic music instruction for K5 students
Plan and lead choral rehearsals and performances (4th & 5th grades)
Work with special area teachers to support and foster school-wide climate and culture
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Demonstrate strong classroom management and rehearsal techniques
Foster a positive inclusive and engaging learning environment
Communicate clearly and consistently with parents and colleagues
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate K-5 music programming
Collaborate with the district elementary band and orchestra teachers as needed
Preferred Skills:
Ability to accompany ensembles on piano preferred
Experience integrating technology into instruction (e.g. SmartMusic or similar platforms)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Elementary teaching experience preferred
Carl Orff certification preferred
