The Role
Youll start as a Trainee Appliance Repair Technician for the first 46 months.

During this time youll ride along with an experienced technician learning hands-on diagnostics repairs and customer communication. You wont be rushed into working alone. The goal is to build real skill and confidence.

As you progress youll transition into running your own service calls independently.

What Youll Learn and Do

Ride along and assist on daily service calls
Learn how to diagnose and repair appliances
Support with disassembly part replacement and reassembly
Learn how to communicate with customers professionally
Use mobile software for job notes and documentation
Help keep the work van organized and stocked
Progress toward handling your own calls

What Were Looking For
This role is for someone who wants to learn a trade and grow with a company.

You should:

Be dependable and show up on time
Be willing to learn and take direction
Have basic mechanical aptitude
Be comfortable working with tools
Communicate clearly and respectfully
Be open to feedback and improvement

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers license with a clean record
Reliable transportation
Ability to lift to 50 lbs regularly
Ability to work in tight spaces and different environments
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Compensation and Growth
Trainee pay: $17$22.50/hour based on experience

After training (typically 46 months):
$25/hour once you are running calls independently
Earning potential of $60K$100K annually as you grow

A realistic workload once independent: 68 calls per day
Local routes where possible to reduce travel time

As an appliance repair technician youll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to other words youll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances portable appliances mechanical work as well as electrical work.

Youll deal with more than just appliances though as a repair technician youll have to deal with people too.

Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude have impeccable written and verbal communication skills work adeptly with repair tools be okay with lifting heavy machinery and of course be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
