Your New Role and Responsibilities
The Australian Growth Office Team leads the strategy engagement and customer touchpoints from early Win Plan development through to proposal submission and continues to support contract growth strategies post-award. They play a key role in building market awareness of Leidos capabilities and achievements while partnering across the business to support broader growth objectives.
To enhance our engagement with emerging opportunities the Growth Team is seeking additional Capture Managers. Concentrating on Australian Federal Government agencies the team will be responsible for identifying qualifying and capturing new business prospects while collaborating with relevant business areas to drive regional growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Identifyqualifyand capture new business opportunities for Leidos this may have aspecific focus on ICT and Digital Modernisation.
- Execute the Companys business capture management processes.
- Coordinate customer relationships critical to new business development including partnership development.
- Establish andmaintainenduring inclusive relationships and communication with key Federal Government stakeholders (Service Headquarters Capability Acquisition & Sustainment Group CIO Group Joint Capabilities Group etc.) atappropriate levelsto qualify and grow the Defence business.
- Lead Request for Tender responses.
- Provide input into current andlong-rangebusiness strategies to enhance the Companys position in Australia.
What Youll Bring to Make an Impact
In addition to your outstanding stakeholder management skills it is desirable that youwill havethe following skills andexperience:
- An understanding of Federal Government Procurement policies and processes
- An understanding ofcontemporary domain solutions
- Prior Capture experience or working as part of a Complex and large Capture Team
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Demonstrated access to key government customersstakeholdersand industry partners
- People leader experience and experience in building and growing industry teams
- Assessing win probability executing customer plans to shape acquisitions to respond and win
- Ability to use automated tools such as Microsoft Office to present ideas information and reports and a customer relationship management to track opportunities and manage pipeline.
- Ability to embrace AItechnology to enhance and streamline outputs
You must be able todemonstrateyour ability to collaborate and network with senior stakeholders and enjoy engaging with people. Good communications skills will be role will be well suited to someone who is passionate about contributing to the success of a company and important customer missions.
