As a Security Officer Reception Coordinator in Santa Monica CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech and media location as a Front Desk Officer where you will welcome visitors manage access monitor activity from a stationary post and provide outstanding customer service and this people-first role you will support security-related operations with professionalism teamwork and integrity while representing an agile reliable and innovative team.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a busy front desk location.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting guests reviewing identification and/or visitor records issuing access credentials and communicating entry procedures in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents service requests and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Support front desk operations by answering questions directing visitors maintaining accurate logs and documenting security-related activities and unusual events.
• Assist with screening incoming deliveries coordinating visitor arrivals and helping to deter unauthorized access through consistent application of site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state county or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
