Job Summary
Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer)
Location: Hyannis MA
Type: Contract (Travel)
Shift: Variable Day/Evening Shifts
(09:00 AM 05:00 PM / 10:00 AM 06:00 PM / 11:00 AM 07:00 PM / 03:00 PM 11:00 PM / 04:00 PM 12:00 AM)
Schedule: 5x8 Hours (Rotating Weekends)
Hours: 40 hrs/week
Duration: 13 Weeks (Temp to Hire)
Position Overview:
The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures ensuring high-quality ultrasound exams and patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures
Select appropriate transducers and imaging techniques
Evaluate image quality for diagnostic accuracy
Assist physicians with procedures (including biopsies)
Prepare and position patients ensuring comfort and safety
Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
Ensure equipment readiness and follow safety protocols
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
Qualifications:
Graduate of accredited Ultrasound program Required
ARDMS Certification Required
Registered in Abdomen & OB/GYN (ARDMS) Required
BLS Certification Required
Strong technical and patient care skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
