Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide advanced respiratory care across ICU ER and general inpatient units. This role involves critical airway management ventilator support and emergency respiratory response in a high-acuity hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
Respiratory Care & Treatments
Administer respiratory medications and aerosol therapies
Perform airway management (suctioning trach care intubation assist extubation)
Provide oxygen therapy (HFNC CPAP BiPAP ventilators)
Perform chest physiotherapy and pulmonary hygiene
Critical Care & Ventilator Management
Manage mechanical ventilation (SIMV IMV etc.)
Assist with ventilator weaning and troubleshooting
Respond to ICU and emergency respiratory events
Support critical care and emergency department patients
Diagnostics & Monitoring
Perform ABG sampling and interpretation
Conduct respiratory assessments and basic EKG monitoring
Collect diagnostic specimens
Emergency Response & Patient Care
Respond to respiratory distress ARDS COPD asthma RSV cases
Assist in emergency airway management
Support patient transport within hospital settings
Equipment & Documentation
Operate ventilators and respiratory equipment (including Hamilton systems)
Maintain oxygen delivery systems and respiratory devices
Document care using Cerner EMR
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
BLS Certification (Required)
ACLS Certification (Required)
Minimum 35 years of experience (ICU/critical care preferred)
Strong ventilator management and ABG interpretation skills
