HBS Backup Caregiver

• Age of Children: Infants-School Age
• Location: Cambridge MA and surrounding areas
• Job Type: Full time 40 hours per week

Schedule: Schedule to take place between 7am to 6pm Monday-Friday. Schedule may vary week to week depending on scheduling needs for families

• Rate: $26-$30 per hour

Vivvi is looking for passionate experienced caregivers to deliver exceptional in-home backup care for one of its clients. While this role may look a bit different from a typical caregiving role it is an exciting opportunity for someone who is flexible and loves working with a variety of families!

This is a guaranteed 40 hour per week position meaning you will be paid for the time regardless if you are this position you will be working with a variety of families on an as needed basis for urgent backup care needs (booked same day) or in advance between the hours of 7am - 6pm Monday - Friday.

We are seeking positive flexible patient and experienced caregivers who:

• See themselves as learners and researchers alongside children
• Are committed to health and safety at the highest level
• Provide screen-free care to a variety of children
• Have strong technical abilities (responding to emails text messages etc)
• Are well-versed in child development and best practices (e.g. safe sleep)
• Are dynamic and creative in their approach to caring for all types of children
• Demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills

Qualifications:

• At least two years of experience as a nanny or early childhood educator
• Excellent communication skills
• Record of building strong parent partnerships
• Strong references
• Experience with caregiving for a variety of ages ranging from infant through school age
