Oversees and provides supervision of the daily operational activities associated with at least one of the following functional areas of the hospital supply chain including: supply distribution and replenishment receiving and delivery mail services and post office warehouse inventory management and the coordinated supply support system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the work activities of subordinate staff.
• Receives verifies receipt stores and distributes equipment and supplies.
• Assists in providing training and coaching of subordinate staff
• Monitors and audits inventory
• assists in determining stock requirements
• prepares and/or supervises the preparation of supply orders.
• Interfaces with accounting staff to resolve invoice issues.
• Maintains applicable files records and databases.
• Maintains area of responsibility in compliance with the requirements of the joint commission and other regulatory agencies.
• Promotes continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental practices.
