Voyago is hiring a PT/CAS Dedicated Charter Driver for our Kitchener Location.

Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager the Charter Driver is responsible for the safe reliable and efficient transportation of passengers to their destinations on scheduled charter trips. This position places a strong emphasis on customer service professionalism and adherence to safety standards. Charter Drivers play a key role in creating a positive experience for passengers by being courteous punctual and attentive to their needs.

Because charter schedules vary drivers must be flexible and willing to work a mix of days evenings weekends and occasionally longer trips or extended hours. The ideal candidate demonstrates reliability strong communication skills and a commitment to safety and service without disruption.

Your role:

  • Safely transport passengers to and from a variety of chartered destinations
  • Ensure passenger safety at all times including while boarding traveling and exiting the bus
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition and meets all regulatory standards
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining punctuality and efficiency
  • Assist passengers with luggage accessibility needs or general inquiries when required
  • Fuel clean and maintain the interior and exterior of the bus to ensure a professional and welcoming travel environment
  • Adhere to company policies transportation regulations and road safety laws at all times
  • Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner ensuring every passenger has a positive travel experience
  • When not needed on a Charter you are able to cover a school route in any type of school purpose vehicle


Requirements

Your profile

  • You are safety-focused and committed to protecting passengers at all times
  • You hold a valid minimum Ontario G Class drivers licence (preference given to applicants with a B Class licence)
  • You are 21 years of age or older
  • You are a safe and responsible driver with a clean driving record
  • You can provide a clear criminal record check and vulnerable sector screening
  • You have strong knowledge of the local region and surrounding areas
  • You are confident driving on all highways and in varying traffic conditions
  • You have the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
  • You are comfortable working within a union
  • You are flexible and available to work days evenings weekends and holidays as required
  • You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills

Hourly Rate:

The rate for this position is $22.15 per hour
