Area Manager

• Drive a culture for a safe and efficient work environment
• Ensure 5S is sustained throughout department
• Help maintenance department keep equipment in good working order
• Meet monthly labor targets for total labor and overtime
• Manage labor costs by reducing waste
• Keep manpower reports updated
• Maximize productivity of department personnel and equipment (efficiency utilization attainment)
• Review time study report (Envision) and seek out parts where we are over or under estimated
• Drive schedule adherence reduce past due hours and stagnant jobs
• Communicate revenue target to staff
• Be professional set a good example and motivate your group to perform to their best
• Have integrity be honest and humble

• 5 years of leadership experience with oversight of 50 employees
• Highly motivated with strong team leadership skills
• Strong troubleshooting and decision making abilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself and other individuals to make improvements or take corrective action
• Time management skills with the ability to successfully manage ones time and time of others
• Must be proficient in the use of personal computers including Windows based software and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with Epicors ERP software a plus
