Job Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry electrical heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) plumbing etc.). Performs general cleaning and other tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities & Duties (included but not limited to):
  • Inspects buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair making notes and recommendations using a pre-established check sheet.
  • Performs minor electrical maintenance
  • Performs minor plumbing maintenance
  • Performs minor painting carpentry and masonry work
  • Re-configures installs positions and remounts modular offices and space.
  • Prepares the surfaces and paints various structures and equipment to preserve wood and metal parts from corrosion and maintain a safe comfortable working environment.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of all offices hallways lobbies lounges rest rooms parking lots and other work areas.
  • Perform general cleaning and light custodial duties in assigned areas (e.g. offices
  • hallways restrooms work areas).
  • Order parts and maintenance-required documents.
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to read write speak and understand English fluently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet or exceed the companys attendance and punctuality standards.
  • Ability to use common tools; should have a set of common tools such as pliers screwdrivers etc..
  • Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Computer literate Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel Word).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to pass drug test/background check we are a drug free work place!
  • Prefer Forklift experience.
  • Experience with maintenance of: Industrial Air Compressor Equipment such as Media Blasting Machine Diesel-powered Start Cart.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds and push up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to bend kneel climb ladders and move in tight spaces as needed.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Exposure to indoor/outdoor environments heat noise dust and cleaning chemicals.
  • Work may be performed at heights or around electrical equipment.
