Pay : HK$19764 - HK$24701 per month
Up to 5% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Count and check the used ophthalmic prisms and diagnostic contact lenses before decontamination process.
2. Perform duties on ophthalmic prism and diagnostic contact lens care including cleaning decontamination disinfection and inventory keeping.
3. Maintain the daily and periodical records of the disinfection process.
4. Assist in delivery collection and distribution of CSSD items.
5. Assist in transporting CSSD carts.
6. Assist in stock keeping and replenishing of sterile packs.
7. Maintain the cleanliness of decontamination area and sterile stores.
8. Assist in monitoring of the environmental standard of sterile stores.
9. Handle general enquiries and assist in coordinating patient flow and queue control.
10. Perform basic vital sign measurement and data input.
11. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Entry Requirements
1. F.5/ S.5 or equivalent (see Remarks).
2. Completion of structured departmental training (see Remarks).
3. Good command of English and Chinese written and spoken.
Preferred Attributes
1. Experience in reprocessing of ophthalmic prisms and diagnostic contact lenses.
2. Completion of Sterile Service Certificate Course.
3. Able to work independently self-motivated well-organized and be responsible.

2. Applicants who do not meet entry requirements (2) if find suitable will be employed to undergo at least 6 months on the job training including the structured departmental training. Employment may be terminated if the selected applicant cannot pass the assessment after training.
3. Serving staff with F.3/ S.3 standard and 2 years care-related work experience may also be considered. Candidates who have completed the JUMP program organized by Hospital Authority are considered to have attained F.3/S.3 level.
