VanPile is seeking a Project Coordinator with a strong estimating mindsetsomeone who enjoys working with numbers plans and people and who wants to follow a project from early pricing through execution in the field. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys estimating today and project coordination tomorrow and who values seeing their work come to life on site.

Youll work closely with our Estimating Team while gaining meaningful exposure to active construction sites setting you up for longterm growth within project delivery and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret drawings plans and specifications
• Prepare detailed cost estimates takeoffs and construction schedules
• Support the Estimating Team during bid preparation and review
• Track project costs budgets and financial reporting
• Establish and maintain project cost codes
• Support field teams with construction planning procedures and best practices
• Assist with subcontractor coordination documentation and reporting
• Gain progressive involvement in project coordination and site support

Qualifications & Experience

• 5 years of experience on heavy civil or marine construction projects
• Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Civil Technology
• Strong background or interest in estimating cost control and planning
• Proficiency in Excel AutoCAD MS Project and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with construction methods sequencing and safety standards
• A proactive mindset with a desire to grow into project coordination roles

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Compensation
Salary range: $75000 $100000 per annum
Companypaid RRSP contributions and bonus eligibility
(Final compensation will be based on experience qualifications internal equity and Carlson Construction Groups compensation policy.)
