Job Summary
Job Title: CNA - Rehab/LTC
Location: Newark NY
Contract: 13 Weeks (Temp to Perm)
Shift: Day Shift (06:00 AM 02:00 PM)
Schedule: 5x8 Hours (Every Other Weekend Required)
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
Pay: $20$26/hr
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking CNA - Rehab/LTC for an exciting Travel or Local job in Newark NY.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with ADLs (bathing grooming feeding toileting)
- Support mobility transfers ambulation and positioning
- Provide skin care and pressure injury prevention
- Take and record vital signs (BP pulse temperature respirations)
- Assist with specimen collection and routine patient care tasks
- Operate patient care equipment (Hoyer lifts wheelchairs beds)
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition
- Perform hygiene care bed baths and linen changes
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Communicate updates to nursing staff and healthcare team
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year CNA experience
- LTC/Rehab experience preferred
- First-time travelers accepted
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to assist with patient transfers and mobility tasks
