Operations Scientist - I

Work Schedule - Mon - Fri (Day Shift)

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct bioanalytical sample preparations

• Document work and maintain study documentation and laboratory records.

• Communicate with project managers lead scientists and supervisor on projects daily/weekly

• Order consumables for projects as needed

• Plan assigned workload on a daily basis and effectively schedule multiple assignments.

• Provide detailed sample analysis and inventory updates to project managers and lead scientists to ensure projects meet agreed upon timelines

• Set up operate and perform routine and non-routine maintenance on general equipment

• Attend and participate in project meetings

• Support process improvement initiatives

• Maintain a clean and safe laboratory work environment

• Participate in client visits as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in chemistry biology

• 2 years or more of laboratory experience

• Experience using laboratory equipment (e.g. balances pipettes centrifuges)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years or more experience working in a laboratory setting (e.g. balances pipettes centrifuges etc.)

• Experience with analytical instrumentation gas liquids or solids

• GLP Documentation experience

• Computer Experience (e.g. Word Excel) or LIMS

Additional Job Standards:

• Work multiple projects in various stages at the same time

• Ability to handle a fast paced environment

• Organized and detailed communication

• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing

• Experience working in a variety of study types analysis procedures and methodology projects
