Located in Pilot Point Texas Western Son Distillery operates out of a historic repurposed factory just north of the DallasFort Worth area.
Job Description/Responsibilities
Western Son Distillery is seeking a detail-oriented QA Technician to support quality and food safety efforts within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for evaluating raw materials and finished products conducting audits and providing real-time feedback to production teams. Youll play a key role in maintaining product integrity supporting compliance standards and driving continuous improvement across the operation.
What Youll Do
- Perform inspections and testing on raw materials and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met
- Conduct routine audits on production processes and provide feedback to frontline teams
- Document quality results deviations and corrective actions using company systems
- Support root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to improve product quality
- Partner with Production and Quality teams to maintain food safety and compliance standards
Qualifications/Requirements
Required:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1 year of experience in quality assurance quality control lab or related field
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to document and analyze data accurately
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook) and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Chemistry Food Science or related field
- Experience in manufacturing beverage or CPG environments
- Familiarity with food safety standards such as HACCP FSSC or ISO
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment including exposure to fumes noise and varying conditions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work overtime as needed

The hourly range for this role is $22.91 hourly to start with increases based on performance. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience qualifications geographic location and internal pay equity considerations.
