About the company

Remote World is partnering with a Filipino media production company to hire for this role. They produce content for YouTube channels brands and online courses across Southeast Asia and their output is growing fast.

The role

Youll edit raw footage into polished engaging videos YouTube content short-form clips and course modules. Youll work from briefs and assets provided by the creative team manage your own queue and deliver to tight deadlines.

What youll do

• Edit long-form YouTube videos (1020 min) from raw footage and scripts
• Create short-form cuts (Reels Shorts TikTok) from longer content
• Add captions graphics and B-roll to enhance storytelling
• Export in the correct formats and specs for each platform
• Give feedback on briefs when something isnt working

What youll need

• Proficient in Premiere Pro DaVinci Resolve or CapCut
• Fast editor you can turn around a 10-minute video in a day
• Strong sense of pacing rhythm and storytelling
• Reliable internet for uploading large files

Nice to have

• Motion graphics skills (After Effects or similar)
• Experience editing educational or tutorial content
• Colour grading experience
