Job Summary
Role: Application Developer with Project Managements exp
Location: Long Island NY (Hybrid role 3 days/week)
Job Description
Job function:
Work with the IT Core lending team to support on new Business capability development on Loan Director/Velocity -Product. Build automation and improve efficiency of application and its performance. Innovate and identify process improvement areas and bring automation to the core. Take in ownership of the task on hand communicate effectively and ensure end-to-end accountability on its completion and delivery
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors/ masters degree in relevant field with IT application development skills
- 2-5 years of experience in Application development and programming and preferably in financial or banking industry
Essential skills
- Programming and Scripting experience with Java Python Java script and Linux Shell.
- Good understanding of APIs Web services REST SOAP and other integration protocols.
- Good working knowledge of SQL Databases (MS SQL server Oracle) and ability to work with NO SQL databases and build dashboards with Power BI
- Knowledge of banking and lending products Velocity /Loan Director is great to have
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Understand engineering best practices and ensure Code quality coverage and programming standards.
- Good communication skills with ability to present technical details to non-technical and business partners.
Additional skills:
- Functional knowledge of Core banking and lending process.
- Any knowledge of Temenos Collections process for financial and banking services is a big plus.
