Job Summary
- Lead the design and architecture of enterprise data warehouse solutions using Teradata.
- Define data models integration strategies and performance optimization techniques.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architecture blueprints.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and best practices
- Deep expertise in Teradata architecture utilities (TPT BTEQ FastLoad MultiLoad) and SQL
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts dimensional modeling and ETL/ELT processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Data Engineering or a related field
10 years of experience in data architecture with at least 5 years in Teradata environments.
Strong hands-on experience with Teradata SQL Teradata utilities.
Proficient with scripting language Python PowerShell for automation.
Solid understanding of data modeling ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
Experience working with Azure cloud-based environment is a plus
Experience with Data governance data security data quality data lineage data catalog and compliance practices
Excellent problem-solving communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Teradata certifications (e.g. Teradata Certified Professional Teradata certified Master).
Exposure of data lake architectures and integration with Teradata.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development environments
