About the Role:
As the Systems Engineer you will take full ownership of the firms technology ecosystem and operational infrastructure. This is not a support role - it is a build-and-transform mandate.
You will design integrate and optimize systems that power the firms daily operations with a strong focus on automation data flow and real-time visibility. From client intake to settlement processing you will ensure that every platform works seamlessly together.
Key areas of ownership include:
- Architecting and integrating the firms software ecosystem to eliminate inefficiencies and data silos
- Building real-time dashboards and reporting tools to support leadership decision-making
- Automating workflows to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy across teams
- Owning and evolving the technology stack for Mass Tort operations
- Evaluating selecting and implementing new tools systems and vendors
- Establishing scalable processes that support long-term growth
- Ensuring security compliance and reliability across all systems
You will work directly with firm leadership and have the authority to challenge the status quo replace outdated systems and implement smarter more scalable solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing and integrating complex software ecosystems ideally within a professional services environment
- Strong expertise in workflow automation tools and cloud-based infrastructure
- Experience with legal technology platforms such as FileVine Lead Docket LeanLaw or similar systems is preferred
- Systems-thinking mindset: ability to identify data flows inefficiencies and optimization opportunities
- Experience managing vendor relationships and holding partners accountable for performance
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance frameworks including HIPAA
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Action-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and iteration
