Looking for an Infrastructure Accounting Analyst Data Center to join the team in Austin Texas on a temporary basis . The ideal candidate will be able to work well with cross functional teams provide accounting and process guidance for decision making as well as being able to manage a significant portion of infrastructure investment on our balance sheet. You need to recognize how to strike a balance on getting the details right while still moving fast enough to support the rapid business growth. The candidate must be a highly driven high energy focused individual that can work well with internal and external partners at all levels.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounting for several data center construction projects from record to report including responsibility for month end close processes and SOX controls
• Own multiple balance sheet accounts and the corresponding sub-ledger for varying levels of complexity
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with our Infrastructure Business Partners to understand the broader business objectives develop processes jointly and provide accounting guidance.
• Identify process gaps and independently develop and implement solutions.
• Provide support to finance management and other cross functional partners as needed. This includes ad hoc financial analysis technical analysis and special projects

Minimum Qualifications

• Excellent team player who is adept at working as part of a larger team located in different locations
• BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5 years of financial statement auditing financial accounting or similar experience
• Experience analyzing large data sets and working with business partners to effect changes
• Experience in optimizing or re-designing existing processes resulting from business needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Big 4 audit experience and CPA
• Experience with Oracle Financials and Hyperion
