Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to join the Breast Center team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams while ensuring patient comfort and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
Conduct bone density (DEXA) exams as assigned
Educate patients and explain procedures clearly to reduce anxiety
Obtain patient history and ensure accurate documentation
Maintain compliance with MQSA and regulatory standards
Complete documentation in EHR and PACS systems
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging equipment
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
Requirements:
Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT (R) certification required
California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license (Radiography & Mammography) required
BLS certification (AHA) required
Prior mammography screening experience preferred
