Location (On-site Remote or Hybrid): Austell GA (onsite)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Working hours: Shift: 4 x 10hrs shift

Description
- Functions under the direction of the Chief Technologist and Vascular Institute Manager.
- The interventional special procedures technologist assists with providing safe age appropriate care to the patient by performing all exams provided by the department according to department procedures.
- The technologist has the knowledge and ability to properly and safely obtain a quality diagnostic study. He/she is responsible for performing a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment ingenuity and initiative in the utilization of the equipment for the diagnosis and/or treatment of diseases.
- The technologist is able to independently perform job functions.
- He/she sets up the equipment to provide imaging service and positions patient for the procedure.
- Able to perform procedures in both the IR Vascular Hybrid and Neuro-interventional setting.
Requirements
Shift: 4 x 10hrs shift
1 weekday night every 4th (Fri/Sat/Sun)

ARRT-CV - ARRT Cardio Vascular Interven or ARRT-R - ARRT Radiography or ARRT-VI - ARRT Vascular Intervention Rad or RCIS - Registered CVI Specialist

BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Preferred or
ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor Upon Hire Preferred or -
Minimum 3 years experience in Interventional Special Procedures either in IR cardiac or vascular hybrid setting.
