Your Opportunity:Taylor Corporation is seeking a Folder Equipment Operator in our Fridley-MN facility who is responsible for setting up operating and maintaining folding equipment while ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety standards. You will play a crucial role in daily operations and contributing to production goals.

Your Responsibilities:
Setup operate and monitor complex folding machinery ensuring optimal performance and adherence to production schedules
Conduct thorough inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to identify potential issues before they impact production
Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime
Train and mentor new and existing employees on machinery operation safety protocols best practices and quality expectations
Delegate tasks effectively to enhance team productivity and maintain a smooth workflow
Serve as a positive role model fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability
Provide regular updates to the Production Supervisor on equipment status production metrics and any issues encountered
Maintain accurate and detailed records related to equipment performance production output and maintenance activities
Ensure compliance with all safety DOT HAZMAT and environmental regulations
Maintain a clean organized and safe work area adhering to all departmental policies and procedures
Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) consistently and correctly
Maintain accurate data entry for time keeping job costing and MRP job tracking
Ability to setup of equipment for new products and complex projects
Materials management request materials required to maintain productivity
Your Shift:
3rd Shift; Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm - 6:00am
You Must Have:
Machine Operation experience preferably with folding equipment
Ability to comprehend number sequencing and recognize errors
Ability to work with numbers
Maintains a pattern of regular and predictable attendance
Ability to follow written and verbal directions
Has good mechanical aptitude
Ability to work overtime as needed
Ability to respond to continually changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects
Perform a variety of tasks throughout the day in a fast-paced work environment
Interact constructively and effectively with all plant employees
Ability to work in a team environment toward a common goal
Reacts to change productively and handles other tasks assigned
A service-oriented individual with a high energy positive and friendly demeanor
Ability to stand for prolonged periods
Requirements Within This Position:
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
Frequently required to move inside the facility
Regularly move up to 25 pounds (lift push pull and/or carry)
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $20.00 - 25.00 The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors which may include as applicable the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position years of relevant experience specific and unique skills level of education attained certifications or other professional licenses held and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporations total compensation and benefits package for employees.
