Job Summary
Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: New York NY
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift (09:00 AM 05:30 PM)
Schedule: 34.542.5 Hours/Week
Pay: Up to $66/hour
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Ultrasound Technologistfor an exciting Travel or Local job in New York NY.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations per clinical protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment safely and effectively
- Capture and transfer high-quality images to PACS systems
- Assist radiologists during ultrasound-guided procedures
- Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment as needed
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked and ready for procedures
- Schedule exams and coordinate patient workflow
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Follow safety and infection control standards
- Support training of new ultrasound staff
Requirements:
- ARDMS certification required
- Minimum 2 years Ultrasound Technologist experience
- Experience with VU Ultrasound system required
- Prostate sonography experience required
- Associates degree or higher in related field
- BLS certification required
- Strong computer and imaging system skills
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
