Description:
Perform system administration functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain Linux and Windows servers.
- Ability to automate processes such as device hardening patching vulnerability remediation system monitoring of Windows and Linux servers.
- Ability to climb ladders to install and troubleshoot sensor devices.
- Apply fixes patches and upgrades in a timely fashion.
- Troubleshoot server issues.
- Administer customer accounts.
- Deploy monitoring tools.
- Deploy applications and tools.
- Assist with escalated customer tickets.
- Ten (10) years experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required. Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
- Mid-level Windows and Linux server system administration experience and knowledge. Minimum of 1 year experience with each of these two operating systems.
- VMware architecture administration experience.
- Knowledge of physical and virtual servers.
- Application administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Security certification
- Hardware installation and cabling experience.
- Monitoring tools.
- Network experience (architecture switch administration troubleshooting).
- AWS/VMs.
