Job Summary

Supply Chain Intern Job DescriptionAs the Intern on Viants Corporate Supply Chain Team you will take responsibility for several projects as assigned by the team. To do well in this role you need experience querying cleaning and presenting data from a wide variety of sources and formats and a working knowledge of basic business position is responsible for collecting and assembling data analyzing business performance identifying and troubleshooting problems and developing recommendations to deliver operations planning and decisions. This role will also develop process documents and procedures to standardize supply chain position requires someone with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams including senior management manufacturing/operations supply chain/planning and will need to be able to manage your time effectively to complete tasks in line with chain Intern Responsibilities:Conduct an audit of Viants Freight spend to identify cost reduction documentation of Viants standard supply chain procedures and load them into our Learning Management SystemTrack the impact of tariffs on Viant and perform analytics to mitigate tariffsOther projects and duties as Data/Business Intelligence Analyst Requirements:Expert in Excel with data import lookups pivots to mine and cleanse data from a wide variety of file to manage time effectively and complete tasks in line with written/verbal communication with ERP systems and other manufacturing operations systems in KINAXIS Rapid Response degree complete or in process preferred concentrations:Supply chain Finance Engineering Mathematics Economics Computer Science Information Management or Statistics
