We are looking for a friendly reliable part time Pharmacy Cashier to join our team and play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and excellent customer service.

About the Role
Position Type: Full time - Tuesday to Saturday
Location: Shelbourne
Pay Range: $18 $20/hour depending on experience
As a Pharmacy Cashier you will be the first point of contact for our customers handling transactions accurately and supporting the pharmacy team with daily operations. Your role will help ensure our customers feel welcomed cared for and supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and process payments (credit/debit cheque cash)
- Count and balance cash drawers at the start and end of shifts
- Follow security procedures (bag checks lotto/stamp counts etc.)
- Arrange displays stock merchandise and keep checkout areas organized and clean
- Participate in in-store promotional events (e.g. Loyalty Days Customer Appreciation Day)
- Organize and process prescription payments for deliveries
- Put away checked prescriptions and return items to stock
- Call patients when prescriptions are ready (as needed)
- Assist with merchandising receiving and putting away front store orders
- Greet and assist customers process returns/exchanges and resolve concerns
Requirements for the Position
- Full-time availability including weekends
- Positive attitude and willingness to embrace challenges
- Caring supportive and team-oriented mindset
- Punctual and reliable with strong basic math skills
- Comfortable standing for long periods of time
- Ability to enroll with PRIME ID (using BC Services Card) to access patient information
