Position Overview:

Job Description:

• Troubleshooting and repairing Caterpillar and other mechanical equipment

• Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily

• Complete technical documentation (service reports warranty crossover notes)

• Interact with customers sales support and the rest of the Finning team

• Work with the Service Supervisor and Lead Hand on various tasks as required

Qualifications:

• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certification

• Dual Tickets will be an asset

• Field truck experience - two years minimum

• Valid drivers license with a successful recent driver abstract

• Previous Caterpillar experience is an asset

• Willingness to participate and complete additional training

• Self-motivated computer literate and safety orientated with the ability to work under minimal supervision

Important Details:

• Based in Calgary 7x7 continuous shift

• Tooled company truck supplied

• A condition of employment is the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol fitness testing) and wear a respiratorwhere applicable

• Union Membership: This is a unionized dues will be deducted from your pay upon of employment are governed by a collective agreement.
